Dad,s grave site at Grant & Graves

This is the burial for dad and this is where mother will be beside him.

Missouri Veterens Salute to a departing Soldier

As dads body was removed from the veterens home in St.Louis, the veterens at the home stood at attention and saluted him as his body passed.  The veterens at the home removed the flag and folded it in front of us and sounded bells as he was removed from the building.  How wonderful that he received this honor.

My father's passing - Othel Bean

The past 16 days has been extremely painful and on the other hand rejoicing.
Dad passed away on April 7th at 3PM at the Missouri Veteren's Home in St.Louis, Mo. He was 90 on January 23, 2011- he suffered a heartache that day. The later part of March fell and broke hip in 4 places. After surgery, he suffered another heartache/stroke and never recovered. The rejoicing part is that he was a faithful Christian. Served the Lord all his life and blieved in Truth. At his parting his face turned into a large smile as the Spirit left him. He no longer suffers from Alzheimers but has a new body. He was buried at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St.Louis.

Zeke the Man at the Coffee Shop

More of this project I have under taken

What a joy it is to creat from things you find and bring them all together along with all the friends who help you out. Carrie, Nancy and several others who help me find these hidden treasures that help make others happy and feel like they too can decorate on a small budget. Zeke my dog isn't with me today but most of the time he helps greet people and loves to go shopping. You'll like the winter coat he is wearing the day we went to Bucher's coffee shop and had coffee and scone while he ate the triple berry bran muffin.

Just a few other pics of the booth

if there is an object you are looking for, give me a email message at vogtmansmt@tds.net and I'll see if I can find it for you

Lndy's House of Plenty Antique Booth

As of March the 1st, I started my first antique booth here in Moscow Idaho. The Main Street Antique Mall - where I prepared, painted and did the floor for this booth. Things are going along well and I am enjoying the process with those who like to as I call it (the hunt for treasures) under all the stuff those people call junk. The decorating and putting things together has been a life saver for me since we have had such a long winter of snow. Even today, 3/25/11, I woke up to snow falling on cedars and pines
