Making homemade bread is enjoyable and fun. I had found this Artisan Bread Cooker at a thrift store and hoped it would make the french loaf with a beautiful crust. It has a steamer underneath the unit and I was so glad I bought it. It was a $50. item but pd. only $4.99. What a buy.
