Mentioned to her that I liked to make pies and if she needed anyone. She hired me on the spot. Her restaurant is featured in a well known cookbook by two sons on the road whose mom is well known in the South. I was also featured in a PBS special from the restaurant helping with cinnamon rolls and putting meringue high on pies.
